Terms and Conditions (T&C) of WHISKY FOR LIFE
including the right of withdrawal for consumers (Sections 6 and 7)
§1 Applicability to Businesses and Definitions
(1) The following Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer in the version in effect at the time of the order.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code).
§2 Formation of a Contract, Storage of the Contract Text
(1) The following provisions regarding the conclusion of contracts apply to orders placed through our online store at https://whiskyforlife.de

(3) The presentation of goods in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer on our part, but is merely a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods. By ordering the desired goods, the consumer submits a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract.
(4) Upon receipt of an order in our online store, the following provisions apply: The consumer submits a binding offer to enter into a contract by successfully completing the ordering process provided in our online store.
The ordering process consists of the following steps:
1) Select the desired items
2) Confirm by clicking the “Order” button
3) Review the details in the shopping cart
4) Click the “Proceed to Checkout” button
5) Log in to the online store after registering and entering your login credentials (email address and password)
6) Review and correct the entered information
7) Submit the binding order by clicking the “Place Order” or “Buy” button
Before submitting a binding order, the consumer may, after reviewing their information, return to the webpage where the customer’s details are entered by clicking the “Back” button in their web browser to correct any input errors or cancel the ordering process by closing the web browser. We will immediately confirm receipt of the order via an automatically generated email (“Order Confirmation”). With this, we accept your offer.
(5) Storage of the contract text for orders placed through our online store: We will send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions via email. You can also view the Terms and Conditions at any time at https://whiskyforlife.de. For security reasons, your order details are no longer accessible via the Internet.
§3 Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment, Due Date
(1) The prices listed include sales tax and other charges. Shipping costs may apply.
(2) The consumer may pay by prepayment, PayPal, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay in advance, he or she agrees to pay the purchase price immediately after the contract is concluded.
§4 Delivery
(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items we offer are ready to ship immediately. Delivery will take place within 5 business days at the latest. In the case of payment in advance, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is sent to the bank handling the transfer; for all other payment methods, it begins on the day after the contract is concluded. If the end of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday at the delivery location, the period ends on the next business day.
(2) Even in the case of a sale by mail order, the risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the item sold does not pass to the buyer until the item is delivered to the buyer.
§5 Retention of Title
We reserve ownership of the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.
§6 Right of withdrawal for customers who are consumers
Under the right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Sections 312g, 355, and 357 of the German Civil Code), you may cancel your purchase within 14 days by submitting a clear statement, without having to provide a reason.
The cancellation period begins on the date of purchase. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to submit a timely written cancellation by means of a clear statement of your decision to cancel the contract—via email or letter to WHISKY FOR LIFE:

You may use the sample cancellation form below, although this is not required.
To meet the deadline for cancellation, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your intention to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
Consequences of the revocation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your cancellation of this contract.
We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Possible and legally valid methods for covering purchase and shipping costs incurred
1. Cancellation within the cancellation period, but the goods have already been shipped:
If the buyer cancels the order after the retailer has already shipped the package, WHISKY FOR LIFE will refund the customer both the purchase price and the standard DHL shipping costs incurred, provided that the customer paid these costs in advance as part of the same order.
IMPORTANT: The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs even if they canceled the order in a timely manner within the cancellation period. (Within Germany, costs depend on the package size and weight; typically less than 10 Euros)
2. The cancellation must be made before the goods have been shipped
No delivery has been made, and no shipping costs have been incurred: The retailer (WHISKY FOR LIFE) will refund the full invoice amount, consisting of the cost of the merchandise plus shipping costs.
3. The buyer refuses to accept the returned merchandise
This is treated legally as a cancellation; the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs (see point 1).
